This decadent evening will begin with a Raw Chocolate Playshop lead by Jonathan Keim and Cassiopia Gaia in the fantastic EL8 Visionary Art Gallery. During the playshop you will learn about the history of raw cacao, the nutritional benefits, a variety of gourmet ingredients, and techniques you can use to make delicious raw chocolate in your home. We will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of different sweeteners, the use of essential oils, and the equipment you need to make chocolate at home. We will be using raw, organic, fairtrade cacao throughout the course as well as the ceremony.
During the playshop DJ P◊RTRAIT will be creating synesthetic experiences by transforming taste into live music. She will pull live samples of sounds originating from the process of making chocolate, and continue to use those sounds to create live music throughout the evening.
The playshop will be followed by a ceremony. The purpose of the Cacao Ceremony is to deeply activate your senses, step into your spirit, and get you ready to dance. Throughout the ceremony we will summon the magical powers of raw cacao and indulge in the delicious creations we've made together in the class.
After the Cacao Ceremony we will blast off into an evening of epic flow with the help of amazing DJs.

Live Painting
Matt Milano will be live painting at our event!!! Matt Milano is a California based, self-taught artist that is in the pursuit to live his dream of creating artwork and a career from his creative outlook on life, culture, and messages from the Universe. From the beginning of his days painting in 2009, he has worked on providing client-based compositions, allowing himself to become capable of creating works that vary in art styles. He has reached many different audiences by performing live paintings at events ranging from private parties, music and art festivals, charity events, military events, restaurants, and corporate events. Now he continues his journey in transforming his artwork onto clothing, placing a new foothold in the fashion world with unique characters and designs, with unique stories being told piece by piece from his imagination and observations.
This party will be stocked with alkalized water, luscious treats, and amazing artwork displayed by some of America's top visionary artists.
