The Renaissance of a New Age represents an ongoing series of prolific art exhibitions by the world's top living artists. Academic institutions have a tradition of celebrating work from artists who have passed away and therefore, the majority of individuals are unaware of the glory of the contemporary art scene. It is EL8's mission to bring awareness to the outstanding work of the New Age. You will find our artists have all reached noteworthy accomplishments in their ability to go above and beyond traditional methods and themes found in art. Every event focuses on arts of all forms. We curate a special selection of music, food, fashion, and visual art to elate and expand your awareness.
On April 29th, Boom Chamber Productions and EL8 will release the next epic evolution of our forever unfolding story. Below you will find a list of the artists exhibiting at our event. Marissa Mireles Hinds
Creative director, poet, performer, photographer and activist. Marissa recently spent six months training in film, poetry and performance in London, UK working with The Roundhouse, Media Trust, Film London, The Museum of Archives, Vivienne Westwood, The Amy Winehouse Foundation and The Heritage Lottery Fund. Marissa's first commissioned short form documentary Future Revisited had it's debut at The Bruce Castle Museum of Archives February 20th in Tottenham, London. Marissa self-published three books of poetry, one of which is titled Poetry for the Mute and it is available online on Amazon as well as on the bookshelves of Mellowpages, a community library in Williamsburg, New York. She is currently studying sketch comedy writing at UCB on a diversity scholarship.

Mike Grimm is part of the team that brings CRAVE to life, a monthly underground renegade comedy variety show plus all-night dance party.

Heartwurkz is the musical collaboration of AHEE and Ash Tree, inspired by their love for each other and the power of music. Creating sonic stories guided from the whispers of the earth, Heartwurkz is an easy-listening Livetronica Duo with catchy melodies and some bass on the side.
